SRINAGAR: A condolence meeting was held at the Sheikh Bagh Forest Office Complex, Srinagar by the officers and staff of the Forest Department to express profound grief over the sad demise of the father of the Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, Sheetal Nanda. The officers and staff observed a moment of silence and offered special prayers for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir, Irfan Rasool Wani expressed his heartfelt condolences and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. He stated that the Forest Department stands in solidarity with the grieving family and prayed to the Almighty to grant strength, patience and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

The condolence meeting was attended by the Regional Wildlife Warden, Tawheed Deva; Conservator of Forests, Srinagar Circle, Sourabh Sharma; besides DFO Urban, DFO Demarcation, DFO Sindh, Wildlife Warden Central and other officers and officials of Sheikh Bagh Forest Office.
