JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) on Tuesday successfully concluded a series of Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) organized for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs under Mission YUVA across five districts of the Union Territory. The Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) were conducted at Ramban, Rajouri, Srinagar, Samba and Kishtwar district centres of JKEDI in hybrid-mode, witnessing enthusiastic participation from youth and emerging entrepreneurs.

The initiative reflects a growing shift towards inclusive and opportunity-driven entrepreneurship across Jammu & Kashmir. During these CBPs, 42 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs were provided comprehensive training.

Over the 10-day training period, the participants underwent intensive classroom sessions, sector-specific video lectures, hands-on workshops, and expert interactions. The programmes focused on strengthening managerial, financial, and strategic capabilities to help entrepreneurs scale operations, enhance competitiveness, and build sustainable enterprises.

The curriculum was tailored to provide practical, actionable knowledge on opportunity identification, business plan formulation, financial literacy, market analysis, branding, regulatory compliance, and accessing government support schemes. Sessions were conducted by JKEDI faculty alongside industry specialists, ensuring interactive and outcome-oriented learning.
