•  ADC inspects Water supply installations

BHADERWAH: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, today visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where he distributed six-month medicines to children of Village Thanalla suffering from skin ailments. The distribution was carried out in the presence of the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah, ensuring timely medical relief to the affected children.

The ADC was informed that the expenditure for the medicines was met from the Red Cross funds, sanctioned by the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, to provide prompt healthcare support to the villagers.

The ADC interacted with healthcare staff and directed them to ensure regular follow-up, proper dosage. He stressed on generating awareness among parents regarding hygiene and preventive measures to avoid recurrence of skin diseases. He also emphasized maintaining adequate stock of essential medicines and ensuring quality healthcare services at the hospital.

Later, the ADC inspected water supply and filtration infrastructure, including the Water Reservoir at Qilla Mohalla, Puneja Water Filter Plant, Chanote and Gaggal Filter Plant. He reviewed the functioning of these facilities to assess the availability and quality of drinking water supplied to the public.

The ADC directed the concerned department to ensure regular testing of water quality, timely maintenance of filtration units and regular supply, especially to densely populated areas. He further instructed officials to promptly address any deficiencies and maintain strict monitoring to safeguard public health.
