JAMMU: Ved Sharma, All Cell Incharge, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, today inaugurated a Free Medical Camp organized by BJP Industry Cell Convenor Deepak Gupta in collaboration with Dr KD Multi-speciality Hospital and Navya Srijan Sewa Sansthan at Rani Talab, Digiana.

The medical camp, followed by a Bhandara, was organized to mark the 4th death anniversary of senior BJP leader Late Jugal Kishore Gupta, who breathed his last in Punjab while discharging his organizational responsibilities during the Punjab State Assembly Elections.

Paying rich tributes to the departed leader, Ved Sharma remembered Late Jugal Kishore Gupta as a dedicated and selfless party worker who devoted his entire life to the service of society and the organization. he said that the late Jugal Kishore Gupta was a committed ideologue who worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people and the strengthening of the party. Organizing a free medical camp in his memory is a true tribute to his values of service, compassion, and social responsibility, he said.

Ved Sharma further stated that the BJP has always believed in serving the people beyond political boundaries. \he said that such humanitarian initiatives reflect the party’s commitment to public welfare. Health services at the grassroots level are essential, and these camps play a vital role in reaching out to those who otherwise lack access to quality medical care, he added.

Deepak Gupta, BJP Industry Cell Convenor and the chief organizer of the camp, said that the programme was inspired by the lifelong service and sacrifice of Late Jugal Kishore Gupta. He said that this medical camp is our humble effort to carry forward his legacy of selfless service. By providing free medical consultation and support, we aim to give back to society and stand by the people in need, Deepak Gupta said and expressed gratitude to Dr KD Multi-speciality Hospital and Navya Srijan Sewa Sansthan for their wholehearted support.

Dr Shipra Gupta from Dr KD Hospital, Vidash Dalmotra from Navya Srijan Sewa Sansthan, Shashi Mehra, Sahil Doya, Mukesh Bhagat, Ankush Kumar from Jammu Ram Leela Club, Rakesh Gupta, Sanju Sharma, Rajesh Chib, Abhishek Prajapati, Kulwant Singh, and several other members of civil society were present on the occasion. More than 150 patients benefited from the free medical services provided during the camp, which included health check-ups and medical consultations.
