RAJOURI: MSME–Development Office, Jammu, under Ministry of MSME, GoI, organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Rajouri, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth.

During the programme, trainees were sensitised about  the wide range of opportunities available in the MSME sector, various government schemes, banking support, credit facilities, and the procedure for setting up enterprises, including MSME registration.

Resource Person from Govt. ITI, J&K Bank, District Industries Centre (DIC), and MSME- DFO, Jammu addressed the participants and provided valuable insights into Skill Development, financial assistance, credit facilities, and MSME-related schemes.

Investigator, MSME-DFO, Jammu, Sh. Ankit Sharma  briefed the trainees on various MSME schemes, highlighting benefits related to credit support, technology upgradation, skill development, and market assistance.

Sh. Aabid Hussain, Dev. Professional Ministry of MSME, GoI delivered the welcome address, highlighting the role of MSMEs in employment generation and economic growth. He also presented the vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of Skill Development Department, Industries Department & J&K Bank.
