KISHTWAR: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Kishtwar today concluded a three-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for Anganwadi Workers. A total of 41 Anganwadi Workers participated in the programme designed to strengthen competencies in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN).
The programme was organised under the overall supervision of the Principal, Tirtha Lal. Senior Academic Officers, Dr. Nadeem, Farooq Ahmed Giri, Riaz Ahmed Giri and Irfan Ahmed conducted insightful technical sessions focusing on child-centred pedagogies and effective classroom practices for early grade learning.
Guest Resource Persons, Mutamil and Rashida Shaheen and others also delivered highly relevant sessions through lectures, demonstrations and activity-based methodologies, ensuring practical exposure. The training aimed to empower Anganwadi Workers with enhanced skills for implementing FLN at the foundational stage in alignment with NEP-2020 goals.
