JAMMU: Twenty-two women entrepreneurs from different areas of District Jammu successfully completed a one-week (30 hours) Management Development Programme (MDP) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme at the JKEDI District Centre, Jammu.

The programme focused on entrepreneurship development, marketing strategies, financial management, statutory compliances, leadership and decision-making, while sensitizing participants about key government initiatives including MUDRA, PMEGP, Startup/Stand-Up India, ASPIRE, ZED, LEAN and SC/ST Hub. A group-based market survey was conducted to provide practical exposure and understanding of market dynamics.

At the valedictory programme, Designated Programme Reviewer Dr Vinod Kumar Sharma conducted a detailed review and interacted with the participants, encouraging them to leverage government support for enterprise growth.

The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Rajesh Kotwal, He urged the trainees to effectively apply the knowledge gained during the training.  Designated Trainer for the MDP Monika Salaria along with Humera Nazir appreciated the enthusiasm, active participation and entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by the women participants throughout the programme.

The participants also appreciated JKEDI for its continued efforts in promoting entrepreneurship and capacity building among aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in the Union Territory.
