ANRF acts as an apex body under MoE, Govt. of India to provide high-level strategic direction to scientific research in the country. ANRF rewarded the grant to support Ar. Anoop’s research work dissemination among experts audience during  an eminent international scientific event in Croatia to be held during October 2025.

The ANRF’s grant is yet another testimony of the exceptional work being carried out at SoALD, SMVDU in the academia, research and professional spheres. Ar. Anoop Sharma is currently working on the ‘resource efficiency in constructions’ with special focus on ‘embodied impacts and conservation through design and policy advocacy’.  With this award, Ar. He also expects to chair a scientific session of the event during his participation.

The award covers the overall air travel and VISA support required to attend the event in-person. Before this award, Ar. Anoop has already earned the scholarship award on conference registration fee, amounting to nearly 800 Euros from the conference organizers, which is only rewarded to one researcher per country.  In his interaction with the media cell SMVDU, Ar. He specifically appreciated the support of Head-SOALD Ar. Abhiney Gupta in always supporting the faculty endeavours. Faculty members, staff and students of SoALD congratulated Ar. Anoop Sharma for this feat.  Being a part time doctoral research candidate, Ar. Anoop also appreciated the motivation by his mentor and lab-mates at IIT Roorkee in shaping his ongoing research work and preparing the grant proposal.
