KUPWARA: The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign got underway in Kupwara today and will be observed across the district till 17th August. Massive rallies were taken out at various locations, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students of schools and colleges, officials of Youth Services & Sports, ICDS and Social Welfare departments, security forces personnel, volunteers and the general public.

Participants marched through the streets carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, reaffirming the nation's commitment to freedom, unity and the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

As per the schedule finalised by the District Administration, a series of activities under the campaign will continue till 17th August, coinciding with the Independence Day celebrations.

Har Ghar Tiranga, an initiative of the Government of India, encourages every household to hoist the National Flag. District Administration Kupwara has appealed to the public to hoist the Tricolour at their homes, offices and establishments during the campaign.
