SONAMARG/GANDERBAL: With snow falling as late as April, Kashmir's Sonamarg resort remains an attractive tourist destination, The world famous tourist resort of Sonamarg in the Kashmir valley today on 27-4-2015' received fresh snowfall of 2 inches while plains, including Srinagar city, were lashed by heavy rains since last evening. With snow falling as late as April, Kashmir's Sonamarg resort remains an attractive tourist destination, The snow even in the summer season and its spectacular beauty make it a truly memorable holiday destination.
It is right time to visit here in paradise" Sonamarg the white brown on earth.Tourists from different parts of India also enjoy snowfall here in Sonamarg". I had never seen snow in my life before. I had been to visit Kashmir with my family when I was a kid of nine months and that time I could not see natural snow' and that's why I was waiting anxiously to see and touch the snow for the first time in my life' by then we had seen snow in Ganderbal but that was only on distant mountain tops' and didn't happen" after few hours when we reach here in Gagingeer' very close to Sonamarg and we saw this snow covered mountain across a water stream.
This was for the first time I saw snow so closely. When we cross Gagngeer top after few minutes heavy snowfall starts here" and this was the moment when i was very happy' speechless and can't explain it fully' continuous snowfall followed us from Hung park to Sonamarg bowl and we felt that Kashmir really is the paradise on earth. We cannot explain the beauty of Sonamarg. We enjoyed a lot and very heavy snowfall continued. Each time we would run to sit in car for the front seat' after 1 hour heavy snow fall covered the entire bowl of Sonamarg with a white envelope"Amit Sharma and his wife tourist from Hyderabad " told JK MONITOR".
