SRINAGAR: In continuation of stringent actions against absconders, Police have arrested two (02) absconders in Anantnag’s Aishmuqam area who were evading their arrest since long.
A police party of Police Station Aishmuqam arrested two absconders identified as Fareed Shah son of Akbar Shah resident of Reshbal Aishmuqam and Showkat Ahmed Shah son of Gh. Ahmed resident of Latroo Aishmuqam who were involved in case FIR No's 23/2010 under section 147, 348, 354 RPC and 74/2010 under section 454, 380 RPC of Police Station Aishmuqam, respectively. Both the absconders were later produced before the court of Law. A general warrant of arrest was issued by the court against them.
Our consistent actions against Anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making every effort to keep our society free of crime. Police has resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.
