This corona fear is getting over everyone. Isn't it? Lock down, Janta Curfew, work from home. But still no cure. It started from China and spread almost to  the whole of the world.  More than 5.5 lakhs are infected and around 27000 deaths have been recorded so far. And the figures will continue to change by the time you read this article.  

China, Italy, Spain, America, Iran, India and many more countries are battling with this grave situation.  Gradually the virus is getting inside us, becoming a part of our body. And the worst part is that we can't do anything about it. There is no vaccination, no medicine, nothing available at this point of time, which is highly crucial. There are 197 countries in the world out of which more than 180 countries are struggling to combat with this deadly virus. Isn't it scary! 

What made me ponder upon this alarming situation is that how a  'micro-mini' organism has that 'macro' power to infect the whole world!  All the scientific advancement seems to fail here! We are so afraid of this dreadful disease that we have locked ourselves in our homes coz this is the only solution right now!

This made me think that, can a virus be so powerful?  Can it be so strong to frighten us? The answer is, no, it can't be. Such a small organism which I can't even see with my naked eye can't be so powerful. So, there has to be something else, which is powerful. Something which created this virus. Some power which made this virus grows into leaps and bounds. If we call this power God, then yes, He is the one who started all this! But why?  Doesn't God love us?  Of course He does!  So why is He doing this?

The answer could be: He loves us, but He also wants us to love each other.  Remember, sometimes back, the world was on the verge of the Third World War.  These same powerful countries were on the opposite sides at war, ready to destroy each other. But now the scenario has changed. While there is a situation of emergency everywhere, and yes this is very bad, can there be some positive side which we are unable to see? Is there any chance that God brought it just to tell us that "look, don't think you are super power. I m the one who is above you all! So better behave yourself and stop fighting!" 

Just notice how every country is coming together to deal with the situation. There are discussions among them to cope up with this disease. China, who itself is going through a tough time to combat this virus, took a very humane step to give every possible help wherever needed. Chinese famous figure and businessman Jack Ma offered to send 1 million test kits and masks to US, its biggest enemy. China also sends help to Italy, Spain and Philippines.

I came across a 5 year old video of Bill Gates in which he said that we are spending too much on nuclear weapons which would be used in destruction.  Whereas the biggest threat to us in the future will not be missiles but microbes.  That made me realise that we are using science as a tool for destruction, while He wants us to use science as a tool for creation.  He wants us to create everything which can be used to bring harmony among us and to save humanity. And that will be the correct use of science.   Yes, we can do this! So let's plan together with the intention of improving the health of the world rather than making ourselves sick with the ways of destruction. 

Yes! Together we can and we will make a difference.
