An open notice to PM Imran Khan

Hon'ble PM of Pakistan Imran Khan,

This is the primary and first stakeholder representative of Jammu & Kashmir in direct communication with you on an issue that you need to think about and act on seriously and without wasting further time in order to salvage Pakistan.

I am a displaced Kashmiri Pandit, a member of the indegenous population of Kashmir, presently living in exile due to the guns, ammunition and trained terrorists sent by your government from three decades ago into Jammu and Kashmir state. What happened due to the path Pakistan chose to 'give India thousand cuts' has already left thousands dead and maimed, thousands of our daughters and mothers in Jammu and Kashmir as widows and orphans, hundreds of thousands as refugees in their own country and devastation, mayhem, death and destruction both visible and invisible.

Anyhow, a political revolution shook the whole of Pakistan when the Parliament of India decided to root out the constitutional, political and ideological isolation of Jammu and Kashmir on 5-6 August 2019 by abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A of the Indian constitution. It did not stop there and went ahead with the proposal to create two Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir state. This has added a great dimension to the whole issue politically, constitutionally, diplomatically and security wise. 

You and your government tried to internationalise the issue to 'your advantage' but in vain. While no country in the world put any question mark on the Indian action, they instead called it the India's internal matter, you did everything without any success. They further advised you to get in touch with India to solve your issues bilaterally as per the Shimla Agreement. However, the Indian stand that "terror and talks cannot go together" becomes a serious hiccup for you in this context.

As you are aware that the latest to join the chorus is the European Union asking you that 'the terrorists in India do not come from the moon' implying that they come from Pakistan. It even called Pakistan an ambiguous country. David Cameron, the former PM on his visit to India and Pakistan some years ago said candidly and categorically that 'Pakistan is the epicenter of the global terrorism'. Donald Trump wants Pakistan to behave honestly on the terror front since he has to be answerable to his nation for 'sending your country billions of dollars'. 

I have recently come across video clips and the press reports from Pakistan and the POJK calling emphatically for "PoJK banega Hindustan" (PoJK will become India). In order to salvage Pakistan from the international embarrassment and national humiliation consequent upon the internal scenario and the historical remembrance of division of Pakistan in 1971, let better sense prevail and the future course of history be reformed for the generations to come.

In this context, I make a sincere appeal to you in order to understand and accede to the wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, let all the occupied parts of Jammu and Kashmir under your illegal control with effect from 22 October 2019 be returned to the Jammu and Kashmir state and consequently to Indian nation. This will, for all the times to come, bury our animosity and will also relieve Pakistan of the burden of giving "thousand cuts to India" perpetually.

Kindly treat this appeal as the First Notice from my side on the issue. You may take a decision by 31st October 2019 since on that fateful day, the two Union Territories in Jammu and Kashmir are going to be formed and established for the welfare and prosperity of the people at large.
