03 dumpers seized for illegal mining in Awantipora

AWANTIPORA: As part of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora has intensified patrolling and checking across the district and seized 03 vehicles for illegal mining. During patrolling at Wuyan, a police team from Police Station Khrew, under the supervision of SHO Inspector Naieem Rashid, seized 03 dumpers allegedly involved in illegal mining activities.

Accordingly, FIR No. 78/2026 has been registered at Police Station Khrew under relevant provisions of law, and further investigation is underway. Police reiterates its commitment to taking strict legal action against those involved in illegal mining and safeguarding public resources.
