RAJOURI: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thanamandi, Abid Shah today conducted a comprehensive inspection of developmental works undertaken under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in different parts of the Block. During the visit, the SDM inspected more than 30 works of various categories. He reviewed the quality and pace of execution of the ongoing works. The SDM expressed satisfaction over the progress and appreciated the sincere efforts of field officials.
He lauded their commitment to grassroots development and encouraged them to continue working with the same zeal and dedication. The SDM also highlighted the critical role these developmental works play in boosting rural livelihoods and infrastructure. The visit was aimed at reviewing the effectiveness of MGNREGA implementation on the ground, identifying gaps if any and ensuring that the developmental objectives of the scheme are being met in a time-bound and people-centric manner.
