JAMMU: The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) extends heartfelt thanks to all participants for their invaluable support during Shri Amar Nath Annual Yatra 2025. Romesh Chander Gupta, President of JCMS, expressed gratitude to various organizations, the administration, J&K Police Department, ITBP, Civil Defence team, Jammu Municipal Corporation, medical staff from Directorate of Health Services (Jammu), POD, Jal Shakti Mission, and others who diligently fulfilled their duties at t.he Registration Counter at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road, Jammu. Special commendation is extended to the district administration for efficiently managing the pilgrims' Registration Counter according to their needs.
Special appreciation is given to" Nodal Officer Anuradha Thakur, SDM R.S Pura, for her cooperative role. The Sabha also acknowledges all donors and contributors who supported the Langer Sewa/Bhandara, which continued, made possible by the blessings of the people of Jammu, particularly the Mahajan Community.
Romesh Chander Gupta also acknowledged dignitaries including Arun Gupta, President CCI, Arvind Gupta.. Hon'ble MLA, Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President N,C, Sat Sharma, . President BJP,Yudhvir Sethi Hon'ble MlA, Sh. Jangi Lal Mahajan, Hon'ble MLA Mukerian and President ABMSS,Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Jammu, and others who visited the Langer Sewa and appreciated the quality of food served by Mahajan Sabha, He highlighted the Sabha's ongoing commitment to social activities and welfare schemes. Additionally, the District Administration, Jammu, presented an Appreciation Certificate to Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, acknowledged by Ms. Ansuya Jamwal (JKAS),Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, for their dedicated service during Shri Amar Nath ji Yatra 2025. Romesh Chander Gupta President expressed gratitude to the local Press and Media for highlighting the activities of the Mahajan Sabha during this period. They hope for continued support from the media to keep the public informed about the Sabha's welfare activities.
The President also emphasized the need for Shri Amar Nath Yatra arrangements to benefit tourism industry in Jammu city. He said that a corridor for the tourism promotion and overall development of Jammu should be built. He suggested avoiding operating the Yatra Camp in the outskirts and expressed concern over the base camp being shifted to the newly constructed Triputi Bala Ji temple, which may hinder Jammu's business growth. He proposed arranging it closer to ensure flourishing business opportunities.\
