SAMBA: Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies Jammu Balkrishan paid an official visit to District Samba to inspect and review the ongoing works and initiatives being undertaken by the Cooperative Department in the district.
During the visit, the Additional Registrar inspected two cooperative-run bakery units â âCooperative Bake Havenâ operated by Khara Madana MPCS, and âCooperative Crumbs Bakeryâ managed by Palli PACS. These units reflect the departmentâs successful strides in promoting rural entrepreneurship and employment through cooperative models.
He also visited the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Kisan Samriddhi Kendra, and Common Service Centre (CSC) run by Smailpur MPCS, where multiple citizen-centric services are being offered under a single roof.
Balkrishan interacted with the members of the respective societies, assessed their functioning, and appreciated the grassroots impact of these initiatives. He commended the dedication and proactive efforts of the cooperative societies, as well as the efficient and committed staff of the Cooperative Department, Samba, in effectively delivering services to the public.
The visit was coordinated by Farhat Naz Choudhary, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies Samba and accompanied by Abdul Majid, Assistant Registrar, Purmandal, and Pranav Manhas, Assistant Registrar (HQ), along with departmental staff.
