JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu concluded the Dealer Development Program for HPCL, conducted from 16th to 18th July 2025, under the Aegis NSE Academy. The three-day training program, held at the Vedanta MDP Centre (Nyay Classroom), aimed to build strategic competencies, branding insight, and customer-centric thinking among HPCL dealers across regions.
The Valedictory Ceremony, held on 18th July 2025, was marked by thoughtful reflections, faculty addresses, and a formal certificate distribution session. The event commenced with a welcome, followed by a comprehensive program report presented by Dr. Baljeet Singh, Program Director, IIM Jammu who highlighted the key learning outcomes and engagement formats of the training.
Participants shared their experiences and key takeaways from the program, appreciating the high-quality content, faculty expertise, and interactive sessions that focused on enhancing operational effectiveness and market responsiveness. Mr. Tejinder Pal Singh Cheema, DGM - RE, Analytics & Branding, NFZ (North Zone), HPCL addressed the participants and encouraged them to apply the tools, frameworks, and insights gained from the program in real-world contexts to drive brand value and customer loyalty.
Prof. Sanjeev Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of continuous learning, agility, and innovation in dealership operations. He noted IIM Jammuâs growing role in providing executive education tailored to dynamic industry needs. Brigadier Neeraj Soni, (Retd.) faculty, IIM Jammu, lauded HPCL and its dealers for their commitment to skill development and professional growth. He encouraged dealers to engage IIM Jammu students for hands-on experience, enabling students to better understand real-world challenges and offer practical solutions.
He emphasized that such collaborative initiatives bridge the gap between theory and practice, fostering meaningful transformation at the grassroots level. Present on the occasion were Deepak Raveendra Barnwal, Chief Regional Manager, HPCL, J & K; Shri Akash Gupta, Senior Executive, NSE Academy. The valedictory ceremony also featured a certificate distribution ceremony, followed by a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Vinod C. Durge, Program Director, who expressed gratitude to all stakeholders including HPCL leadership, faculty members, and participants for their wholehearted engagement and contributions. The ceremony culminated with the National Anthem, marking the closure of yet another impactful executive program at IIM Jammu.
