HAJIN: Halqa-e-Adab Sonawari Hajin (HAS) on of the oldest literary organisation of Kashmir in collaboration with the Chief Education Office(CEO) Bandipora, organized the Professor Mohiuddin Hajni Memorial Essay Writing Competition. The competition aimed to foster interest in the Kashmiri language among students and provide them with an experience akin to competitive examinations.
About 300 students from the educational zones of Quil, Bandipora, Hajn, and Sumbal participated in the event. Three examination centers which were designated for the competition included Girls High School Bagh, Girls High School Sumbal and Higher Secondary School Hajin. Halqa-e-Adab Sonawari had made proper arrangements for ensuring the smooth conduct of the competitions.
The examination commenced at 11:00 AM and concluded at 1:00 PM on Thursday. The top three winners will be awarded prizes during the annual function of Halqa-e-Adab, while all participants will receive certificates of participation.
