JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu successfully concluded a five-day Management Immersion Programme for MBA students of IILM University, Gurugram, organised from September 7 to 11, 2026. The programme provided the participating students with an enriching academic and experiential learning environment, offering insights into contemporary management practices, institutional perspectives and the broader dimensions of management education.
The Valedictory Ceremony was held on September 11, 2026, at Shankaracharya Classroom, IIM Jammu. The ceremony commenced with the Welcome Address, followed by a presentation of the Programme Report by Dr. Sarbjit Singh, Program Director, IIM Jammu.
Sharing their reflections on the Management Immersion Programme, the participants expressed appreciation for the enriching academic sessions, interactive learning environment and warm hospitality extended by the IIM Jammu team. The students described the academic sessions as highly engaging and insightful, with one participant remarking that they âenjoyed all the sessionsâ and found the academic learning experience at IIM Jammu âreally nice and unique in every sense.â Another participant expressed sincere gratitude to the entire IIM Jammu team for hosting them so warmly and shared that the academic sessions were âfull of learning,â making the programme an overall âgreat experience.â
The participants also spoke about the personal learning and growth they experienced during the programme. One student reflected that the experience helped them discover âa part of me which was not explored,â particularly through stepping out of their comfort zones. They appreciated the faculty members for encouraging and pushing them to recognise their potential. The participants also fondly recalled the natural surroundings and beautiful campus of IIM Jammu, with one student sharing that visiting the campus was a dream they had manifested two years ago and that âthe dream came true,â making them feel proud to be there. The off-campus experiences were also described as âphenomenal,â adding to the overall richness and memorable nature of the immersion programme.
The ceremony also featured the distribution of certificates to the participating students, recognising their completion of the Management Immersion Programme. Certificates of Appreciation were also presented to Dr. Manpreet Kaur Rayat and Dr. Satish Kumar, Faculty Members, IILM University, in recognition of their support and contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme.
Dr. Ashish Kumar, Program Director, IIM Jammu delivered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the faculty members, programme team, participants and all stakeholders involved in the successful conduct of the programme. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. Dr. Garima Saini, Program Director, was present on the occasion.
The Management Immersion Programme reflects IIM Jammuâs continued commitment to fostering academic collaboration, experiential learning and meaningful engagement with leading educational institutions. Such programmes provide students with opportunities to broaden their managerial perspectives, engage with contemporary management thought and gain exposure to the academic ecosystem of a premier management institution.
