UDHAMPUR: Continuing its efforts to educate the masses about various social issues, a cultural Programme based on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was organised by District Information Center Udhampur at ANMT School, Udhampur. Chief Medical officer, Udhampur, Dr. Arun Sharma was presided over the function. The variety show highlighting the need to Save the Girl Child was presented by the local folk artists. The programme highlighted the importance of generating awareness among the masses regarding the negative social impact of declining sex ratio. Among others, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Dr. Chander Parkash, Senior doctors, Staff and students of ANMT School were present on the occasion.
