SRINAGAR: Anti Corruption Bureau conducted Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs) Conference at ACB Hqrs. Peerbagh Srinagar. The Conference was inaugurated / Chaired by Sh. Shakti Pathak, IPS Director Anti Corruption Bureau alongwith other Senior officers of ACB Hqrs. J&K. The Conference was attended by 51 DVOs of Kashmir based Departments.

The Director ACB J&K review the DVOs matter pending with them and stressed upon old matters to expedite on priority.  He emphasized upon the need to conduct proper enquiry on the complaints which reflect any element of misconduct on part of the public servants and also advised the DVOs to furnish enquiry reports which clearly bring out an element of misconduct on part of the public servants and advised the DVOs to be watchful of the mal practice happening in their Districts/Departments and to communicate the ACB for further action, if any deviation having come to their notice. A presentation on road map for conduct of enquiry by DVOs alongwith relevant reading material as part of professional inputs was also provided to District Vigilance Officers.
