JAMMU: BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav called upon the newly elected BJP’s Councillors from Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at party headquarter, Jammu. Madhav was also accompanied by BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta (MLA), former Minister Sat Sharma (MLA), former Minister Chander Parkash Ganga (MLA) and MLA Rajesh Gupta, whereas the proceedings of the meeting were carried by BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi.

Earlier, Ram Madhav had an interaction session with all the newly elected Councillors, where he hailed their efforts in the elections and congratulated them for the comprehensive win in the JMC elections. He also congratulated for the win of more than 100 Councillors in Urban Local bodies (ULBs) elections in Kashmir. Ram Madhav, while interacting with the Councillors, termed this whole thing as the opportunity to serve the people with empowered hands. He asked them to work with dedication and limitless inspiration. This is an opportunity too good not to be missed and your efforts must yield results on the grounds visibly evident with the unparalleled development in Jammu, Madhav insisted.

Madhav further asked the Councillors, to study the models of the BJP governed Corporations and Committees where BJP has never lost since their inception. He advised them to work with dedication and asked them to have zero tolerance for corruption. He said that other political parties never wished for ULBs but the efforts of J&K BJP yielded results and these elections have opened gateway for heavy funds from Centre, which will start an era of unprecedented development in the state.

Ravinder Raina, thanked Ram Madhav for his visit to Jammu amidst his tight schedule. He said that his words of wisdom will act as path shower for the newly elected Councillors. He assured Madhav that the party Councillors will work together with enthusiasm and dedication for the greater development of Jammu towards smart city. He said that public in both Jammu and Kashmir has shown love and support for BJP in ULBs and the same results will be repeated in the upcoming Panchayat elections. The Councillors also responded with the same enthusiasm and resolved to work with dedication for the development of region.
