SRINAGAR: Ganderbal police solved another case of theft of sheep. A complaint  regarding theft of 20 sheep was received by police station Ganderbal from Abdul Qayoom son of Fazal Din resident of Shahpora Ganderbal. In this regard F.I.R No. 234/2017 under section 357,380 RPC was registered in Police station Ganderbal and an investigation team was constituted under the supervision of DySP Ganderbal Dr. Rameez Raja, accompanied by Incharge SHO Police station Ganderbal DySP  (P) Shri Aakash Kohli, for its quick disposal.  

By the efforts of investigating team 10 number of sheep were recovered from the possession of  Mushtaq Ahmad Kohli son of  Baza Kohli resident of Astanmarg Dhara Harwan , Shabir Ahmad Reshi son of Gulzar Reshi resident of Khimber and the cash of rupees 50 thousand ( received from the sale of rest of the stolen sheep) was seized from their possession. Furthermore,  one vehicle which was used to carry the stolen sheep was also recovered.  Further course of investigation is in process.
