Under the guidance of Dr. Sonia Verma and Advocate (Dr.) Priya Sharma, General Secretary of SGWF, these women will now serve as master trainers in their respective regions, forming Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to further propagate skill development among women.
The training program, meticulously organized by Ms. Komal Koul from Giri Foundation, was a collaborative effort aimed at fostering economic independence and empowerment among women. Participants were immersed in comprehensive sessions covering various aspects of knitting and crocheting, from basic techniques to advanced methodologies.
Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Priya Sharma extended heartfelt thanks to Ms. Komal Koul, Vardhman Group, and all the women who participated in the training program. Their commitment and enthusiasm have laid the foundation for a transformative journey towards women's empowerment through skill development.
The initiative underscores SGWF's ongoing commitment to promoting gender equality and socio-economic inclusion by providing women with the tools and opportunities to thrive in their communities. Through collaborative efforts and dedication, SGWF envisions a future where every woman has the resources and support to achieve her full potential.
