The principals presented their views regarding their own school buses as well as other private transports hired by parents. The meeting also discussed the deployment of Road Transport Department and Traffic Police officials to monitor school buses and other private vehicles hired by parents. The DC assured regular and consistent monitoring of these vehicles.
The principals have been urged to raise awareness among parents about the importance of safe transportation and to explore other possible ways to provide safe and secure transportation for students. The meeting was attended by ADC Ansuya Jamwal, ADC Shishir Gupta, SSP Traffic City Faisal Qureshi besides ARTO and other concerned officers also.
