SRINAGAR: Despite all Requests made by me through media to district administration , about dewatering of old post office lane , moulvi stop lal bazar on urgent basis , today one of the house collapsed due to water logging , The water logging is mainly due to Raise in water table level , low retention capacity of land to absorb water& continious rains.
I once again am requesting to District administration through media to please send 3-4 high dewatering pumps on urgent basis with long pipes so that the water is pumped out in the main drain Running along Main road.
I sincerely request to all media persons to publish this news on humanitarian basis & visit the area urgently as 34 families are present in this area , & if govt. Doesn't send high dewatering pumps , All houses may be collapsed due to water logging.
