SRINAGAR: Some major road were hit by landslides in Handwara, police pressed its men into service and cleared the roads. The traffic on the roads was restored. Handwara police cleared the debris from the blocked roads on war-footings. Meanwhile, a Police party of police station Miasuma strengthened the embankments by sand bags at Gow Kadal, Maisuma Bund today. Srinagar police also installed water pumps to dewater inundated areas of Degdarhar, Zoonimar and Parimpora today.
